Privacy policy

The short version

• We collect only what we need to respond to your request and prepare a quote.
• We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for other companies' marketing.
• The estimator only asks for your address when you request a quote, and uses it only to prepare that quote.
• You can ask us to delete your information at any time: shinebrightchristmas@gmail.com.

The cost estimator and your address

You can see a preliminary price range without giving us your address. We ask for your property address only in the estimator's final step, when you request an exact quote or a design consultation, and we use it only to prepare your quote. It's delivered to our team with the rest of your request (see "Quote requests" below).

While you use the estimator, your progress (footage, home size, selected add-ons, and city — but not your name, contact details, or street address) is kept in your browser's session storage so you don't lose your place. It's cleared when you submit or close the tab.

Photos you upload

If you choose to add photos of your home in the estimator, we use them only to prepare your design proposal (for example, a mockup of your home with lights installed). Before upload, your browser resizes each photo and removes embedded details such as location data where it can.

• Photos are sent to our business email with your request and are not stored on this website.
• If you don't become a client, we delete them within 12 months.
• We may ask your permission before using any photo of your home in our portfolio — we won't use it without asking.

Quote requests

When you submit a quote or estimator request, we receive your name, email, phone number (if provided), preferred contact method, city, the address you choose to share, property type, timeline, estimate details, and your message. We use this to contact you about your request and prepare your quote. We don't store these submissions in a website database; they're delivered to our team by email and kept only as long as needed to serve you and meet our business and legal obligations.

By checking the consent box, you agree that we may contact you by call, text, or email about your request. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time.

Service providers

• Cloudflare hosts this website. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect our forms from spam; it may process information about your browser and device to tell humans from bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Resend delivers our emails, including the notification our team receives and the confirmation you receive. It processes the contents of those emails on our behalf. See Resend's privacy policy.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics and our own first-party event counts) to understand which pages and tools are useful. These events never include your name, email, phone number, or address — only things like which step of the estimator you reached and a general footage or price range bucket.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of further contact by emailing shinebrightchristmas@gmail.com or calling (972) 832-7653.

Children

This site is intended for adults and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
