Most homeowners who hang their own lights know the routine: a weekend untangling strands, a trip or two to the store for replacements, a wobbly ladder on a two-story roof, and a display that never quite lines up with the edge of the roof. Professional installation replaces all of that with one visit and a result that looks deliberate.
We start with a free design consultation. We walk the property with you, measure every roofline, peak, and window you want lit, and talk through the look you’re after — classic warm white, a crisp cool white, or something more colorful. You’ll know exactly what’s included before we schedule anything.
Cut to fit your roofline
Instead of off-the-shelf strands that are always a little too long or a little too short, we build each run on commercial-grade wire cut to the exact length of your roofline. Bulbs are spaced evenly, corners are clean, and there’s no excess cord bunched at the ends. That’s the difference between “lights on a house” and a house that looks designed.
We use commercial-grade LED C9 bulbs. They’re bright, they draw a fraction of the power of old incandescent bulbs, and they stay cool to the touch.
How pricing works
Our base rate for roofline and window outlining is $4 to $6 per linear foot, and it includes design of your layout, professional installation, and January takedown. Where your project lands in that range depends on things like roof height and pitch, access, how many peaks and corners there are, and where power is available. Trees, shrubs, wreaths, garland, and pathway lighting aren’t included in the per-foot rate. We price those at your consultation so you only pay for what you choose. January takedown is already included. Off-season storage is an optional add-on; add it and you never have to think about lights again.
Safe, tidy installation
Our crew uses proper ladders, fall protection on steep or high roofs, and clips designed for shingles and gutters. Nothing is nailed or stapled into your trim. We plug into your existing outdoor outlets and set up a timer so the lights come on at dusk. If your home needs a dedicated circuit, we’ll tell you up front and can coordinate with a licensed electrician.
